  • How can I schedule an appointment?
    Call us at 850-226-8096, or visit our team page here to request your first visit with the provider of your choice. Massage therapy can be booked here: newhopemhw.janeapp.com.
  • Is New Hope available only in Florida & Texas?
    Yes, we serve both states through virtual appointments, maintaining the same quality and compassion. In person appointments are only available in the Florida panhandle.
  • What insurances do you take?
    We accept a wide range of insurances to ensure accessibility to patients. UnitedHealthcare, Optum Plans, Oxford Health Plans, Cigna, Aetna, UMR, Oscar, Surest, UHC Student Resources, AllSavers UHC, Harvard Pilgrim, Meritain, Nippon, Tricare (Out of network provider), and Florida Blue.
  • Do you all accept Tricare?
    Yes, we are an out of network, but participating provider. If you have Tricare prime you can request a referral to see us from your PCM. Ask specifically for New Hope Mental Health and Wellness.
  • Where are you all located?
    We are located in Mary Esther, FL at 124 E. Miracle Strip Parkway, Suite 202. We are at the corner of N. Christobal Rd. and Highway 98. The front of our building faces Highway 98.
  • What ages do you see?
    We see everyone!
  • Are you all accepting new patients?
    Yes we are! Please go the "Meet Our Team" page to see our team and request your first appointment.
  • Do your providers speak different languages?
    Yes, we have one provider that speak Tagalog (Lorraine) and another that speaks Portuguese (Cassia).
  • How often are appointments needed?
    Appointment frequency varies based on your needs and goals, discussed during the initial assessment.
  • What should I do in the event of an emergency?
    If you or someone you care about is in need of emergent services please go to the nearest emergency room, or dial 911. New Hope does not provide crisis services.   • What is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)?
    A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is a highly trained healthcare professional with a Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree specializing in mental health care. PMHNPs are advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) with expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various mental health conditions. They can provide therapy, prescribe medications, and offer holistic support to individuals of all ages struggling with mental health issues.
  • What is massage therapy? How can it help me?
    Massage therapy involves the manipulation of soft tissues in the body to promote relaxation, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being. Massage therapy can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and supports a sense of calm and rejuvenation.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    We understand circumstances may arise that require appointment cancellations. We kindly request you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid the no show fee. This allows us to accommodate other patients in need of care. Massage therapy cancellation/no show fee: For late cancellations, a fee of 25% of the total service charge will be charged. This fee helps compensate our therapists for the time they set aside for your appointment. For no-shows, a fee of 50% of the total service will be charged. We take this measure to encourage responsible booking and respect for our therapists' time.
  • Why is a card required to be on file?
    Rest assured that your card information is stored securely and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. We prioritize the protection of your sensitive data. We want to emphasize that having a card on file is a common practice in many healthcare facilities, and it's intended to enhance your overall experience by minimizing administrative tasks and providing a more convenient and efficient service. With your card on file, payments for services rendered, including copayments and fees for late cancellations or no-shows (as outlined in our cancellation policy), can be processed seamlessly.
